The Last Day

San Francisco and Saulsolita, California

The last destination on our trip was San Francisco and Saulsolita. Due to time constraints we only had time to visit Fisherman's Wharf, go across the Golden Gate Bridge and enjoy an excellent dinner in the coastal town of SaulSolita with a beautiful view overlooking the city of San Francisco from the North. Notice the return of the Warner Bros Characters, this time in seaside professions. :-) The pictures below only tell a small part of the story and I hope to extend it as more friends and family come and visit me in the Bay area.

My Dad strikes an excellent pose as we overlook the coastal town of Saulsolita. Alcatraz is clearly visible in the San Francisco Bay from our vantage point on Peir 39.
This zoomed in view more clearly shows the Golden Gate bridge along with a number of boats heading in her direction. Wiley E. Coyote returns and this time he is ready to remove the crabs from San Francisco Bay.
This monument was placed on top of hill as a salute to those who saved the city from a fire. At least I think. :-) We ate dinner at a very nice restaurant in Saulsolita that had a magnificant view of the city of San Francisco from across the bay.
Zoomed in the skyline of San Francisco is nicely framed by the water that surrounds it on three sides. This close-up reveals that this old ship is loaded with tourists enjoying the unique trip across the bay.
