Historic Buildings

There are many beautiful buildings on Florida's campus, and while at UF it seems that I had classes in all of them. So, I tried to capture as many as possible digitally for those of you to enjoy. Historic building information printed below comes from The UF Library's Historic Sites Guide. More photos of campus buildings are also available in their Gallery.

Anderson Hall Bryan Hall
Anderson Hall, which was built in 1906, was originally called Language Hall. Originally the College of Law, Bryan Hall, built in 1914, is now part of the Warrington College of Business.

Murphree Statue
The Chemistry-Pharmacy Building was built in 1927. Renamed Leigh Hall in 1950, it still serves the Chemisty Department today. A statue of UF's second president, Albert A. Murphree is located in Peabody Plaza between Peabody Hall and Smathers Library East.
